Largillière Finance advises Crystal Group in its fundraising from OFI Asset Management for the acquisition of Expert & Finance

Groupe Crystal specialized in consulting and distribution of global wealth solutions announces the acquisition of Expert & Finance.

The goal is clear: to become the benchmark brand of the wealth management market and independent investment advice within five years. An achievable ambition thanks to a 34% state of the OFI group in Groupe Crystal’s capital.

Towards an alchemy of know-how

The Groupe Crystal expands its skills and know-how by acquiring Expert & Finance. For 30 years, the wealth management consulting firm partner of the accounting profession has been advising business leaders and the professions in the management of their assets. The new group combines multidisciplinary skills recognized in all business expertise: wealth engineering, insurance, social protection, real estate, credit … and allows to address all customers in France and abroad.

With this acquisition, the Group Crystal becomes a key player in wealth management with the goal of 5 years to double its assets and set up a multi-channel heritage hub in 5 years.

OFI as a development accelerator

Founded in 1971, OFI Asset Management is one of the largest French asset management companies in terms of outstandings managed with € 68 billion in assets under management at the end of September 2016. OFI is developing expertise in both collective and underwriting management in traded and untraded assets and offers a range of solutions and services adapted to the needs of a multiple clientele.

The OFI Group, wishing to increase its presence in the retail market, has decided to contribute to the development of the Groupe Crystal, by acquiring a 34% stake in the capital, which completes the acquisition of La Française while preserving the Group’s independence.
